In the 40 years since, she has read many thousands of romance novels, joined romance communities online, and consumed podcasts and interviews with all the OG writers of the romance genre. A mental health therapist by profession, who has spent 25 years mired in true tales of unimaginable woe, Julie has deep appreciation for the promise of a happy ending.
