FABS Spring Online Event: Kenneth Gloss on "The Joy of the Hunt: Collecting Rare Books & Manuscripts"

In the FABS Spring Online Event, Boston-based Brattle Book Shop proprietor/television appraiser Kenneth Gloss will talk about some of his favorite finds and describe the joys of “the hunt.” He will explain what makes books and manuscripts rare and what determines whether they increase in value. He has many fascinating anecdotes to share about private and institutional collecting, as well as guidelines for starting a collection. There will be a Q & A session after his presentation, followed by appraisals.
