New Book by NOBS Member
Between January 26th and February 23rd of 1945 on Luzon in the Philippines, America made its greatest rescue of civilians and military prisoners from deep behind enemy lines. Three quickly organized raids by different hastily formed groups, saved 7,700 lives. NOBS Member and Akron area author, Joseph Huber, Jr., has self-published, RESCUE RAIDS OF LUZON - a heavily illustrated book about his Akron family and their involvement in the three deep rescue raids in which America rescued civilian and military prisoners, one raid in which the Huber family had a "ringside" seat. The book is available in hardback and paper at: https://bookshop.org/.../rescue-raids-of.../9781665514170
